Laïna Hadengue naît le 26 juin 1962 à Valence dans une famille à vocation artistique. Plasticienne, artiste peintre et vidéaste, elle commence à peindre à l’âge de 15 ans. Son parcours d’autodidacte l’amène à explorer la peinture figurative, utilisant essentiellement la technique de la peinture à l’huile. Son travail va associer des formes hyperréalistes avec une iconographie surréaliste, notamment dans sa série « Mes portraits insolites ».
Celui ci est présenté lors de la Biennale de Venise 2017 au Palazzo Mora, Centre Culturel Européen. Ses œuvres participent à de nombreuses expositions individuelles et collectives en Europe, en Asie et aux États-Unis.

BIOGRAPHY
Laïna Hadengue was born on June 26, 1962 in Valence into a family with an artistic vocation. Visual artist, painter and videographer, she started painting at the age of 15. Her self-taught journey brings her to explore figurative painting, essentially using the technique of oil painting. Her work combines hyperrealistic forms with surreal iconography, especially in her series "My unusual portraits ”, presented during the 2017 Venice Biennale at the Palazzo Mora, European Cultural Center. Her works can be seen in numerous individual and collective exhibitions in Europe, Asia and the United States.
I"n our contemporary society, which is obsessed with progress, there are artists capable of overturning the idea of technicality and its utopian character. Laïna Hadengue here diverts the characteristics of an effective and symbolic image that we are constantly confronted with. The artist seeks to raise the bewilderment of Man at the dawn of this new society.
